Shirakawa Yume
白川　ゆめ

The tomboy of the group. She enjoys sports and was originally part of many sport clubs, but later changed to the broadcasting club as she wanted to be with her good friends. She is seen as being extremely straight-forward about things, and is also quite open-minded. She has a lot of strength and knows a lot about the supernatural, but also has a high sense of logic which people often finds ironic. Her temper tends to get a little overboard and frequently gets into fights.

Because of her, the group was often regarded as a delinquent group. She is often seen trying to get back at students whom she felt had done her wrong, and there had been times where some teachers suffered under her wildness. But despite it, she is known to have an open personality, a free-giving and cheerful self which doesn’t fail to attract friends.

Kagome Kazue
籠目　和恵

The fun, pop-princess of the group. She likes to look for things which she calls as ‘treasures’, though most of the time other people find these things are being either strange or disgusting. She comes from an unknown town, and will act strangely when angered. She likes the occult, and has a number of books with different topics of it. She has strange ways of doing things, and has good acting skills when the situation calls for it, which often leads others into a trap of her own.

She has a slight weakness of being unable to read the situation or even possible thoughts of other people. Hence, she is often regarded as being a very slow-acting person, often being the last to realise something important had happened. However, when it comes to love, she is extremely sensitive and interested in any gossip which considers the people around her.

Tsukamoto Hayao
塚本　駿

The smart rich boy of the group. He is the son of the head master, and Masato’s childhood friend. He is good in every subject, and has an amazing skill of memorising things. Rumour has it that his hobby is to explore the black market, but this has not really been proven or mentioned even in his circle of friends. He likes to research on things which other people find strange, but is able to predict things accurately by doing it. He has a lot of knowledge, and is described as a walking dictionary. He also likes to mix in deep vocabulary into his everyday speeches, which often confuses other people.

Thanks to the playfulness of his other friends, Hayao always finds himself being the one having to clear up the mess left behind. If it wasn’t for him, the group would very well have been regarded as a delinquent group, all thanks to Yume’s reputation in the school. Amongst the academy staff, Hayao is famous as the responsible, polite and reliable student council president, while amongst the student body, he is well-liked for his strict but forgiving attitude, and helpfulness for the convenience of the other students. As such, he is apparently the most popular in the group.

Niitsu Masato
新津　聖人

The mature yet naive boy of the group. He is the childhood friend of Hayao. His parents died early, and was in his grandmother’s care until he was 11. Since then, he was sent to various relative’s houses. He entered the school through a scholarship, which he felt was a blessing as he no longer need to move about. He is actually dubbed as a ‘Mama’s boy’ as he likes to mention things which his parents and grandmother told him. He is known to think out of the box on certain occasions, and is extremely sensitive to his surroundings.

Masato is also known as a quiet and gentle person in the academy. He is often so silent that people often forget his presence. Hence, him being called an ‘important person’ in the group made him really happy. He fully trust his friends and they return that by fully trusting him and relying on him when the needed. And of course, he was an extremely reliable person as well.

Kondou Kousuke
近藤　康介

The independent boy of the group. He is always the first to get the most expensive items on the market, usually with his own pocket money. He came from an average family, and was sent to the school by a scholarship. However, due to him being the only child, the amount of money he receives from his parents is equivalent to a rich child’s. He has a habit of saving up money in case of emergencies, hence allowing him to buy expensive items.

Because of his shopping habit, Kousuke has the ability to tell the use of anything he sees, even when it seems abnormal or out of the world. Even when he doesn’t truly know of its use, he knows how to properly experiment something to determine it, and not spoil or destroy it in anyway. In the academy, he is often seen as a freak or a nerd because of this ability, but it is soon overcome with the awe of his expensive collection.

Konohana Niji
此花　虹

The quiet bookworm of the group. Her great-grandfather was the head of a Yakuza group, but ever since her father took over, this title was no longer applicable, though the family still had bodyguards in black suits and sunglasses with scary faces. Because of her environment while growing up, she is known to pay attention to her social environment, finding out about a person’s personality, background, and habits, although sometimes her assumptions may prove to be wrong. She tends to be absent-minded, hence she has a habit to write things down in a small pocket notebook about things which may or may not be important.

Niji is known to produce a sinister aura which may turn anyone around. She is also the second reason after Yume why the group is often regarded as a delinquent group. While keeping an emotionless appearance, Niji is known to have a bad temper and a large sense of justice. She speaks eloquently and chooses her words wisely, unless seriously angered. Because of this, even in the group, no one dares to anger Niji, but at the same time, treasures her as a friend, and someone to talk to and ask advice from.

Uehara Nikki
上原　日記

The silent worker of the group. Although giving out a normal deposition in front of people and acting as an honour student, Nikki is really just a girl who wants to have fun and get close to people. She jokes around a lot, so people tend to not take her seriously. Due to her being a transfer student, not many really knows her well. However, the group had managed to bring her in with them and interact daily.

Tsukamoto Maki
塚本　真希

The headmaster of the academy and Hayao’s mother. A typically kind person, Maki has a good sense of judgment, and is fair in all things. She judges people by their character and is fond of the group of six, even as far as allowing them to be in the same class and sit by each other during every lesson. She often likes to liven up the academy by creating a theme every month and having a competition relating to the theme at the end of the month between every level. She often think things through before doing anything, predicting events which might happen and creating counter measures so that it wouldn’t affect or will help aid her plans. Hence, it is kind of impossible to talk back or do anything against her.

In society, she is widely feared by illegal workers. She is actually aware of the activities happening in the academy at night, as well as the existence of magic. She is also a good friend of Niji’s father, hence allowing her to transfer into the academy with the excuse that she can be away from the never-ending stress of having been part of a Yakuza, although she knows of the real reason. She was a witness of the explosion in a town 12 year prior, and adopted Hayao, a survivor of that accident, out of sympathy. Upon finding out that Masato had been abused by his relatives, she promised him to send him to a place where he can be free from them if he can get into the top three of his school in every year. When he achieved that, Maki gave him a scholarship to enter the academy.

Masamune Shiroki
正宗　白木

Nana’s room-mate and the head of the first female dormitory block. She is also part of the student council, and admires Hayao for his devotion in everything he does. She likes animals, and often feeds the wild dogs that come by the school in the afternoon. Shiroki is also Niji’s cousin, and is extremely close to her. She, too, is related to Yakuza, but wasn’t affected when Niji’s father withdrew the family from its practices as her mother, Niji’s aunt, married into another Yakuza clan. She likes Visual Kei and, to the surprise of a number of male characters, likes BL. To keep Shunsuke in control due to his playboy attitude, Shiroki often gives him a lot of task so that he would be too busy to do anything else. However, sometimes, this plan would fail.

Akihiko Rin
暁彦　リン

A freshman who helped out in the revival of the broadcasting club, finding it interesting. She likes music and enjoys singing. She also gets along well with Shiroki due to their similar interests, such as Visual Kei and BL. Her hyper personality makes her easy to socialise with and open up to. She is also quite mature and experienced in things that are unusual for her age.

A silent student who is also the class president of the next class.

Tennouji Hiroshi
天王寺　浩

Niji’s bodyguard and right-hand man. Despite his large built and maturity, he is actually only 3 years older than Niji. He is also quite gentlemanly and likes bitter things such as black coffee. He is also quite kind and cheerful, unlike most of the other guards who followed Niji. However, it has been noted that he can actually be fierce and scary if needed to be. His skills as a fighter are also formidable.

Aoyagi Shunsuke
青柳　俊介

Shiroki’s bodyguard. He has a playboy attitude, and likes to move around a lot, allowing him to adapt to a place fast. Although sometimes irritating, Shunsuke is actually kindhearted and cares a lot for the people around him, even as far as allowing himself to lose something for their happiness. He is also respectable and polite, often seen as a very cool person. He also acts as Shiroki’s butler as well, bringing in tea and cookies when she asks for it. He is also skilled as a spy and fighter.
